Plett Bay Game Reserve is Plettenberg Bay’s only Big Five game reserve and hosts both overnight and day visitors to a 4×4 game drive or a horse safari. The reserve is 2000 with plenty of space for the animals to roam. The introduction of elephants, Harry’s Herd, in 2016 has brought Plett Game Reserve to Big Five status. Our predators do live in a separate part of the reserve to the elephants, zebra, buck, giraffes, rhino, hippo and others. Currently, Plett Game Reserve is home to two beautiful rhino, but we have launched our Protect our Rhino project in an effort to raise funds to enable us to bring more rhinos onto the reserve, where our topography allows for excellent protection from poachers.
